June - The Day the War Stopped - "A story of love, loss, and dignity , proving that even in the midst of the impossible, all things are possible." The re-enactment of the burial of Union Commander John E. Hart with Masonic Honors at the Grace Episcopal Church in June of 1863 . . . the day the war stopped!

December - Christmas in the Country - Every December (always the first weekend) we invite all to view this little town in a magical way, lighted at night with thousands of tiny white lights. Carolers and open houses in our shops are part of a fun weekend that includes the best small town Christmas Parade anywhere!
